1.0 Initial Visit

For the first clean only, there is a one-off charge to cover additional time required. The cost varies based on house size and frequency of ongoing cleans, which will be explained during sign-up.

1.05 What to Expect

The pure water cleaning system effectively removes general dirt from windows. However, it cannot remove: builders residue (plaster, concrete, paint), stickers, adhesive, staining/discoloration from chemicals or rust, and UV bleaching on frames. Customers should notify the company when arranging their first clean if these issues exist.

1.1 How Often We Visit

Service is offered every 4 or 8 weeks. The company requests flexibility regarding scheduling, allowing approximately one week either side of the scheduled date due to weather and other factors.

1.2 Bad Weather

The team avoids cleaning during heavy rain but works in light rain or short showers, maintaining service quality. Heavy rain results in rescheduling to the next working day.

1.3 Turning Us Away

The company attempts reliability while expecting customer cooperation. Same-day cancellations or turning away the team at the door may result in full payment charges and potential service cancellation. Full charges apply if customer access isn't provided on the scheduled day.

1.4 Ending Our Services

Customers may cancel by telephone at 01525 500 100 or email info@dmc-fm.co.uk. However, a minimum of 3 cleans is required. Cancellation before completing 3 cleans results in charges for remaining services.

1.5 Complaints Procedure

Customers unsatisfied with work must contact the company within 24 hours for free re-cleaning. Complaints after 24 hours may not be re-cleaned. The company operates a no-refund policy but rectifies unsatisfactory work at no charge within the 24-hour window.

1.6 Confidentiality

All customer information remains confidential and is not shared, complying with Data Protection Act requirements.

1.7 Payments

Regular 4 or 8-weekly customers must pay via GoCardless direct debit, collected 5 days after each clean. One-time service customers pay by credit/debit card in advance by calling 01525 500 100, with completion within one week.
